Marriott City Center Hotel – Macon, Georgia
11am to noon – FREE
It’s no accident that we’re having Chris Baty, founder of National Novel Writing Month, at this year’s Crossroads. When the conference closes that first weekend in October, you’ll promptly get to put all your new knowledge and renewed motivation towards trying to “win” NaNoWriMo in November.
If you’ve never tried it before, little else will challenge you like NaNo. When you give National Novel Writing Month a shot, you’re practicing the habit of writing daily. Better than that, you learn to focus on the writing, reserving judgment of your work so you can revise later.
All that said, if you HAVE tried NaNoWriMo before then you already understand all this and you might even be one of those folks who holds Mr. Baty in high esteem (we do). So as a special treat, he’s agreed to a Sunday morning meet n’ greet. There is no cost and you don’t have to register at Crossroads (registrants do get first priority).
To get in, you just have to click here and fill out this form. The event is limited to 100 so don’t dawdle.
If you do register for Crossroads, which you can do by clicking here, you’ll get to join Chris Baty for informal panels and catch his lunch keynote. (Not to mention, our other amazing guest presenters and the chance to make new writing friends.)
