Jeffrey Stepakoff

  • “An impressive debut.”—The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
“A luminous love story that readers won’t soon forget, ‘Fireworks Over Toccoa’ transports you to another time and place. It is at once heartbreaking and triumphant—an affirmation of love in all its forms.”  – NYTimes bestselling author, Emily Giffin

Jeffrey Stepakoff knows how to write. Not only does he have credits on fourteen different series –producing hundreds of hours of internationally-recognized television—and two beloved novels (his debut “Fireworks Over Toccoa” and his latest “The Orchard”), but he’s written on his TV years (“The Billion-Dollar Kiss”), has written several well-known videogames, worked in advertising, trained as a journalist and teaches writing. So he has a lot to offer.

Jeff’s credits include the Emmy-winning The Wonder Years, Sisters, Major Dad, Beauty & the Beast, Simon & Simon, and Dawson’s Creek, where he was Co-Executive Producer. He has developed and written major motion pictures, including Disney’s Tarzan and Brother Bear, and been covered in numerous outlets including The Wall Street Journal, The Chicago Tribune, USA Today, The Wilmington Star, Southern Living, Redbook, Atlanta Magazine, The New York Post, and The Globe & Mail.

“Fireworks Over Toccoa,” first published by St. Martin’s Press in 2010, was honored by the General Assembly of Georgia in February 2011. His second novel, “The Orchard,” was released in North America in July, and Reader’s Digest will release their version in October 2011’s SELECT EDITIONS.
